Vacancy Description

The Amelia is looking for its first Audience Development & Programmes Manager to help shape the entire engagement programme.

The opening of The Amelia Scott in spring 2022 will create an amazing new facility to house art exhibitions, cultural resources, libraires, tourist information and Council services. We have exciting new roles that will allow you to be part of this project from launch, providing an opportunity to assist in shaping the formation of the service, The Amelia, into a destination of national repute and a facility that will lead the way in delivering an integrated, visitor first, culture and community destination.  This journey will mean you deliver incredibly valuable and important services which will positively impact the lives of everyone in the community.  

To excel in this role, you will be someone who loves working with varied audiences, has experience delivering arts and culture engagement and working with colleagues to tackle new challenges. We are looking for someone special to help us take our programming to the next level, making sure all our visitors (even those who haven’t decided to come yet) feel there’s something interesting and relevant to them.
